The perfect location….

Kernow Trek is located in the quiet hamlet of Trevarrian, on the coast road between Padstow and Newquay (view location). Cornwall's countryside - renowned for it's beauty - golden sandy beaches, and the National Trust Coastal path - with stunning views of the North Coast - are on our door step.

Mawgan Porth and Watergate Bay are within easy walking distance - two of Cornwall's best beaches for surfing and family fun. Our central location means you are never much more than an hour away from anywhere in Cornwall and the adventure possibilities are endless.

We are conveniently located for many of Cornwall's well loved visitor attractions - Eden Project, Bedruthen Steps, Heligan gardens, St Ives, Padstow (famous for Rick Steins seafood restaurants), local theme parks and zoo's to name but a few. Jamie Olivers restaurant 'Fifteen' is just two minutes drive away at Watergate Bay. Newquay airport is within easy reach.

Directions

From the A30 at Victoria follow signs for St Mawgan (Newquay) Airport. Continue past the airport on the left to a “T” junction. Turn right and Trevarrian is the next village on the left. Turn into the village and we are on the left. Have a safe journey!

Kernow Trek Access Statement

Kernow Trek Lodge is located in Trevarrian, a small and quiet, elevated village, on the coast road (B3276) between Mawgan Porth and Watergate Bay beaches. Newquay is approx 3 miles and Padstow approx 8 miles.

The land surrounding Kernow Trek premises is mostly flat, with parking for each room on the drive.

The property is accessed through the main entrance, single door. The breakfast room and three bedrooms are on the ground floor, together with the out door decking area. Five bedrooms are on the first floor, accessed via stair case. All bedrooms and the decking area are accessed through a single door.

Mawgan Porth and Watergate Bay beaches are easily accessible by road - just 2minutes by car. Both beaches are within walking distance, 20 – 30 mins walk by road, although there is a steep incline on the return journey. Guests should be aware that this road can be busy at times, and cars may travel at speed. Both beaches are also accessible via the National Trust Coastal Path, 30 – 35 minutes walk, not suitable for push chairs, wheel chairs and guests with limited walking ability.

The local village pub is a 2/3 minute relatively flat walk, offering usual pub facilities including evening meals. There are other options for dining out, accessible by foot/car/taxi, in Watergate Bay , Mawgan Porth, Newquay and Padstow.

Newquay airport is less than 1 mile away, and Newquay train station approx 5 miles. There is a local bus service into Newquay and Padstow (bus stop located next to the village pub), as well as local taxi services.
